Kali Yuga

I swear to you, this did not happen on purpose! It's just lately, the feeling of the Goddess has been so prevalent on my psyche and in the air around me...there has been a feeling, a strong pull that keeps it in my mind and keeps my "antennae" up to the subject.

Anyway, I wrote a hub about it, and also mentioned the destructive male energy that has been in power for so long. And then last night, I listened to the last 1/2 hour of Coast to Coast am, and heard a man talking about this subject... in a way; he was speaking of many things, but it led me to look him up him on the internet, and there the subject of the Kali Yuga came up! And so I went to Wikipedia, and found this:

KalYug (Devanāgarī: कलियुग, lit. "age of (the male demon) Kali", or "age of vice")

The age of the destructive male energy! But in the same breathe, "She is the goddess of our time". The subject matter that was in my hub, the subject matter that has been pulling on my mind. To me, there is only one reason why this synchronicity is happening: Something about it is true...something about it is affecting our world, something about it is revealing itself, or at least wishing to be known.

And for sure, some people can say, "Well Duh! It only comes from the most ancient text in the world! The most ancient religion in the world! Who doesn't know about Kali Yuga? Well, I didn't....not in this context. Not as something real and vibrant and alive.

Something out there called me to it. There is something happening in our world right now, something magnificent and we must pay attention to it. I've seen other hubbers here mention David Icke. Well, he calls it the Photon Band.. says we are moving into it and are feeling its "Truth Vibrations".

Barbara Hand Clow also mentions the Photon Band. She says it is facilitating in us a "Process of Transmutation." She writes in her book, "As photonic light increaes in our realm, it causes our density to release, and we move deeply into our subconscious. As this happens, we get new information(light) about ourselves." She calls it a quickening....

"Before the Sun throws out light, where is the light? Photons come out of nowhere, they cannot be stored, they can barely be pinned down in time and they have no home in space whatsoever. That is, light occupies no volume, and has no mass. The similarity between a thought and a photon is very deep. Both are born of in the region beyond space and time where nature controls all, processsing that void which is full of creative intelligence." --Deepak Chopra

What is this saying?: Follow your thoughts! Trust them! Don't just dismiss and disregard...give them some attention. Let the "light" into your mind...let the "spirit" into your solid matter. Let it guide you and see what happens!

When my kids were little, we always watched Sesame Street. Buffy Saint Marie was a guest once, and she was singing this same message: "Listen to the wind blow. What does the wind know? Where does the wind go? Listen to the wind blow."

I saw a Native American author speak on this once, too. He was giving a talk on a book he had written, and he asked the audience, "What is air? We breathe it, we need it to live, but do we ever ask ourselves, what is it? What is it made of ?"....at which point my boyfriend came in the room and said, "What the hell are you watching?" and that was the end of that.

But you see---that's the message I am feeling so strongly...Don't ignore this stuff! Don't brush it aside as "New Age-y" crap or "what the hell is that". Listen to it, consider it, open your mind to it....

It is calling you. It is calling all of us. Take that cosmic ride.

The sacrificial sword and the severed head are the symbols of dissolution and annihilation directing the Sadhaka to shed his 'ego sense'.

Let go of the ego, the I Me Mine. Don't let its "dissolution" scare you! ....just for a minute, a second....see what happens. It is in the air and in all the Ancient Wisdom. Let it teach you. Re-aquaint yourself with the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, the Vedas. Or read them for the first time. The story of us is in there! (forgive the "preachiness" of this...don't know how else to say it!)

*As an addendum: I can't help thinking that this nuclear summit is connected to all this somehow. Nuclear/atomic energy...transmuting energy, great invisible power...thoughts, photons...it all connects.*
